Submerge FAQ

~ What are the dates of Submerge?
July 9-11, 2019

~ What are the age requirements for Submerge?
Submerge is for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade during the 2018-19 school year. This means it is for children who just completed Kindergarten through 6th grade at the time of Submerge.

~ What are the hours of Submerge?
Submerge begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.

~ When can I drop off/pick up my child?
You can drop your child off in the MPC as early as 8:30 a.m. All children must be picked up at 4 p.m. Please keep in mind, that for both drop off and pick up, you will need to park and come inside. In the mornings your children must be checked in by an adult. This person will receive a pick-up tag that will be used in the afternoon for pick up. At pick up, you must show the tag with the matching number to your child’s tag. We do this to ensure the safety of our children. No child can be picked up without the adult first presenting the pick-up tag.

~ What happens if I lose my tag for pick up?
If you lose your pick-up tag simply visit our C3 Kids First Touch kiosk in the MPC lobby. There you will need to show a picture ID where they will match the
information to your child’s account and reprint your pick-up tag.

~ Can someone other than myself drop off/pick up my child?
Yes, we require that anyone dropping off or picking up a child be 18 years or older. If the person dropping off the child is different from the person picking up the child, simply let the First Touch Host checking them in know. They will have you fill out a short form with the specifics of the pick up and will keep your pick-up tag for that person. When they arrive that afternoon they can visit the kiosk in the MPC lobby to pick up their tag. Please be aware that they will be required to show picture ID to receive the pick-up tag.

~ What if someone unexpectedly has to pick up my child?
That person will visit the kiosk in the MPC lobby. We will call the parent’s number associated with the child’s registration card to verify the pick up. This person will need to show picture ID in order to receive a tag.

We had an amazing time at Submerge this year! Through your partnership, the kids raised $1929.39 for Backpack Buddies! Sunday we will wrap up what it means to Power UP so be sure your kids are here for either the 9am or 11am service!
One of the best parts of this conference is how we teach our kids about outreach and giving back. This year, we are partnering with Backpack Buddies which is an organization that feeds children in Johnston County that have limited access to food on the weekends. Backpack Buddies began in 1995 and we are so excited to continue partnering with them.
How C3 got involved:
What started as a Connect Group Project in Spring of 2018 has become a Local Impact Outreach here at C3. We have been able to feed 50 children this past year, each weekend of the school year.
Through Submerge, and the generosity of our Submerge Families, we we would like to feed 50 kids for an entire month! Each backpack costs $7.50 per kid each week which would translate to a goal of $1500.
Will you consider partnering with us by encouraging your child to join in one of the following ways:
  • Bring in their cash donations throughout the conference
  • Make a donation on their behalf through your online community HERE and follow these instructions:
    • Login to your online community or select Guest
    • Select “Backpack Buddies” as your designated fund
