WORSHIP TEAMS
The Worship teams exist to provide a passionate and life-giving worship experience that is driven by gratitude, humility, and desperation for God. Through the gift of music we lead people into God’s presence so they may know and love Him more.
Volunteer opportunities include:
Vocals
Our vocal team provides leadership and support during the praise and worship time in all services. Not only do they learn and memorize the songs with excellence, but they are an example of a worshipper on and off the platform. Those interested in joining this team will need to demonstrate their ability to sing, learn music quickly, and be comfortable on the platform.
Band
Our band provides instrumental support during the praise and worship time in all the weekend services. Just like the vocal team, they learn and
memorize the songs with excellence and are an example of a worshipper on and off the platform. Those interested in joining this team will need to
demonstrate their ability to play their instrument with excellence, know how to read chord charts, learn music fairly quickly and musically blend in with the team.
DANCE TEAM
This team exists to enhance the worship experience through movement, drawing attention to God and praising his name! Those interested in this ministry have experience and training in the area of dance, do not desire attention for themselves, but desire to glorify God in their abilities.
Psalm 149:3, “Let them praise his name with dancing…”
CREATIVE DESIGN TEAMS
The Creative Design teams exists to make Christ known through all creative visuals at C3 (print, web, stage sets, digital slides, etc.). We also assist the ministries of C3 by providing fresh and innovative materials to help communicate and advertise.
Volunteer opportunities include:
Graphic Design
This team provides fresh artwork for the church and gives creative and visual appeal to the many things that happen here at C3. This team
creates the visual concepts for things like sermon series, web design, print materials, etc. Those interested in this ministry need to have professional
experience in the field of graphic design, are familiar with high-end design programs (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), are knowledgeable with computers, and are creative thinkers.
Web Development
C3’s website is one of the largest tools we have to communicate to the church body, community, and beyond. It is our desire that the website develop into a full online representation of the entire church and an interactive tool for people to go online and experience C3 from their home at any point during the week. Those interested in this ministry must have professional experience in web design, web programming, are knowledgeable with computers, and are creative thinkers.
Photography
Our photographers play a huge role in the design and promotion of the church. This ministry allows people who have not been to our church to get a taste of the great people and exciting atmosphere here at C3. We love to capture the faces of people, great moments in ministry, and contributing to the creative process of the other areas in the Creative Design Ministry. Those interested in this area of ministry need to have experience in photography and own the proper equipment to produce quality photos.
SET BUILDING TEAM
We have the privilege of helping to create the physical environment in which God’s message is presented. We play a key role in providing elements that coincide with the Pastor’s sermon and prepare the people to experience God’s Word.
Volunteer opportunities include:
Carpentry, painting, artistic drawing, color coordination, and creative imagination.
The Set Building Team creates elements for the stage and worship center based on the current series or event. In creating these elements, the team is able to express their artistic abilities along with working to complete a given project. Team members do not necessarily need to have a specific skill, but will need to perform the task necessary to help organize, complete, and then tear down various sets and elements. The set design changes periodically depending on the series and can take as much as a week or two to create.
