What is a Connect Group?
Connect Groups are groups of 5-15 people who meet in homes throughout the Triangle region. Most groups meet weekly and discuss the weekend sermon. There are also groups focused on marriage, parenting, blended families, and a variety of support groups. We currently have groups in Garner, Apex, Raleigh, Clayton, and surrounding regions. Some groups meet at C3 church.
Why participate in a Connect Group?
Connect Groups are the core of church life at C3. When you join a Connect Group, you are participating in C3’s passion of equipping people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. In short, Connect Groups are the best place to build friendships and grow in your understanding of the Bible while you reach out and serve in our community and around the world.
Who can participate?
Connect groups are for everyone attending C3 Church and anyone in the community looking for a church home or a place to connect with God. Connect Groups are for those who have completed high school or 19 years of age and up. There are groups for women, men, and married couples, as well as groups for people needing support in the areas of finances, divorce, addictions, weight management, parenting, marriage, and step families.
When do groups meet?
C3 Church Connect Groups meet on a 3 semester schedule. The Fall Semester is from September to December. The Spring Semester is from January to May. The Summer Semester is from June & July. During the semester, groups meet weekly and there are groups on most every night of the week from which to choose. There are also groups that meet in the daytime.
What happens in a Connect Group?
Each time groups meet there is fellowship, usually around snacks or a meal, a Bible study that is facilitated by a Connect Group Leader, and a time to pray for and encourage each other.
When do new groups begin?
A few weeks prior to the start of each semester, Open Connect Group Sign-ups are held before and after each weekend service. You can also sign up online during the Open Sign-up period at www.c3church.com. If you miss Open Sign-ups, you can stop by the Connect Group table in the main C3 lobby to pick up a Connect Group Directory and call or email the leader of the group you would like to join.
