WORKSHOPS

We will have a variety of workshops to choose from, where you’ll receive teaching that is specific to your area of ministry. You’ll have the opportunity to attend 2 of the following workshops.

WORSHIP & CREATIVE ARTS
In this workshop, Martha Fry will discuss how to create an environment where people can come and experience the presence of God. We will also be discussing practical tools like worship planning software, chord charts, and other technical aspects of the worship experience.

NEXT GENERATION: GRADES K-5
What does it take to put on an elementary ministry with passionate volunteers, dynamic worship, great drama, and more? Check out this workshop to see how C3 Kids ministers to elementary kids and their families. We will give some simple nuts and bolts ideas that have helped us take our kids ministry to new levels.

ASSIMILATION
In this workshop, Chris Pipes, will uncover the simple process of how C3 Church leads people from the point of checking out C3 to being fully engaged in the life of the church.

CONNECT GROUPS
In this workshop Randy Boschee will be talking about the importance of Connect Groups and how they impact your church. He will share practical insights on how Connect Groups help people experience life change as they connect to God, others, and the community.

WEB/BLOGS/TWITTERS
In today’s day and age there are thousands of opportunities for social networking and mass communication via the internet. Come hear and discuss some of the most innovative and cutting edge ways to get the word out about Jesus, and keep in touch with the culture in today’s tech-crazed society.

CHURCH ADMINISTRATION
Effective administration is a key ingredient to being an effective organization. Some get it right, and all need help. Learn valuable trademarks on how to govern, spend, control, and do human resources in an exciting way in church.

TECHNICAL ARTS
In this workshop, Jimmy Blankenship will discuss how to equip volunteers to achieve excellence in the ever changing world of technology in the church.

NEXT GENERATION: GRADES 6-12
“Love their socks off, then move their feet!” In this workshop, we will talk about principles that will help you grow your student ministry by giving it away, and grow your influence by growing their buy-in. Will be followed by a Q&A on all things student ministry with Josh Wright & members of the C3 Students team.

MULTI-SITE
The core idea of multi-site is simple: “one church in multiple locations.” There is a wide variety of alternate venues. In this workshop, Chris Pipes, Campus Minister for C3 Church Raleigh, will share how C3 joined the multi-site movement and became “one church, two locations.”

FIRST TOUCH
In this workshop Randy Boschee will be discussing ways to impact people “from the street to the seat.” We will talk about how to develop a “WOW” factor that brings first time guests back and inspires volunteers to serve with purpose & enthusiasm.

SECURITY
Is your church prepared? This workshop will cover various topics related to both physical security and the safety of all who attend services and special events at your church; from children’s check-in to evacuations. Come learn about “best practices” from a law enforcement officer with twenty-five years of experience that also serves as a volunteer security coordinator for C3 Church.

NEXT GENERATION: PRESCHOOL
Discover the keys to a dynamic preschool ministry by looking at C3 Kids Preschool Ministry through the eyes of a parent. You’ll get helpful tips to equip anyone serving or leading in the ministry of preschool.
